It has excellent solvent resistance, allows easy assembly, prevents galling and can withstand temperatures up to 400F (204C). Excellent for high pressure applications: locks and seals tapered metal, pipe threads and fittings. Ideal for stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized metal and other inert metals. Disassembles with hand tools.
This low-strength, high-viscosity thread sealant is UL classified and ideal for tapered, coarse threads. It’s specially formulated to offer easy assembly and removal.LOCTITE® 567™ is a white, 1-part thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. As an anaerobic-curing thread sealant, it cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. It's high lubricating properties prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminum and all other metal pipe threads and allow ease of disassembly. The product offers high temperature performance and oil tolerance. It tolerates minor surface contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids.
